The easiest way to illustrate the PhotoDay flow is to show how your customers experience it. After all, they’re the most important part of your business! Guiding your customers to their photos has never been easier, and the streamlined purchasing experience makes things as simple as possible.
Let’s take a look at how it all works.
Step One: Text 90738
Your customers text their gallery access code to the PhotoDay shortcode of 90738. Customers can also access their gallery by entering their access code at my.photoday.com. You’ll have to let them know this information ahead of time via your picture day marketing materials!
This gives them the link to their gallery.
Step Two: Account Creation
If your customer doesn’t already have a PhotoDay account, they’ll be prompted to create one once they click the gallery link.
Step Three: Gallery Access
Once they have their account created, they’ll enter the gallery and be able to start browsing their photos!
Step Four: Finding Photos
Depending on the job’s settings, there are three possible ways to search for photos: FaceFind, Tags, or All Photos. You can choose one or more of these methods to display! Let’s just choose All Photos for now.
Step Five: Favoriting Photos
Your customers can start marking their favorites by pressing the heart icon in the top right of their photo choices. Their favorites will start populating at the bottom—these are the photos they’re choosing to purchase!
Step Six: Choosing Products
To select what products they want their photos on, they’ll tap “Shop” at the bottom of the screen. They can then choose from an entire catalogue of your creation, from individual products to packages you’ve custom-built for them.
Step Seven: Customizing Products
A lot of products will come with customization options, such as selecting backgrounds and text. Your customers have the freedom to choose what they want and see a preview of the final products as they go.
Step Eight: Purchasing Products
Once your customers are done shopping, all they need to do is go to their shopping cart, enter any offer codes you may have given them, and enter their payment information. That’s it! Their photos and products are on their way to their doorstep.
